FAP/Food Stamp penalties for reducing hours of employment without good cause will only be applied if the hours before the reduction were more than 30 and the hours after the reduction are less than 30. | ||

| New Benefits for Food Stamp Recipients | ||
| FAP/Food Stamp recipients who do not meet the requirements for the Non-Cash Recipient program, including those in households without a child, may receive up to $50 per month for transportation reimbursement, tools, or clothing in connection with employment or training/education. FIA may issue employment support service payments for transportation, clothing, tools, or other expenses for Non Cash Recipients who are not actively participating in a Michigan Works Agency-approved activity. | ||
